ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The Presbyterian College men's wrestling squad will participate in the annual Southern Conference Championship Tournament tomorrow, with the format switching to a two-day event for the first time. The action starts on Friday at 10:00 AM from the Kimmel Arena in Asheville.
All nine SoCon institutions will send one wrestler per weight class to the league bracket, with the title-winner from each group receiving an automatic bid to the NCAA's in Cleveland later this month.
Once the championship match in each weight class has been determined, along with the consolation semifinals, Friday's schedule will close and then resume the following afternoon.
ESPN+ will have coverage of the entire tournament along with live results on Flo Wrestling. The Blue Hose will attempt to qualify one of their own to Nationals for the first time in the program's brief history.

SOCON SEEDINGS
- Following a three-way tie for the SoCon Championship between Chattanooga, The Citadel, and Appalachian State, the league announced its seeding designations yesterday for the postseason.
- 184-pounder
Reed Douglass has been awarded the number two seed in that weight class, the highest-seeded Blue Hose wrestler since the program was created six years ago.
- He arrives at the #2 seed thanks to a perfect record in conference competition, winning all seven of his SoCon appearances and going 13-4 altogether. Only App State's Tomas Brooker is seeded higher in that division.
- Thanks to his second-seed announcement, Douglass automatically moves on to the Quarterfinal round tomorrow. The same can be said for
Joseph Morris in class 149, who was named the number six seed.
