PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. – The Presbyterian College women's golf team opened their 2025–26 season at the Golfweek Fall Challenge on Sunday morning. After posting an impressive opening round to the season at the Clemson Invitational last year, sophomore
Sloane Spessard continued her strong first-round form, finishing with a solid performance that included a hole-in-one on the par-3 11th hole.
After a weather interruption, the Blue Hose completed the first 18 holes with a team score of 318 (+34) in the opening round, placing them in 20th after day one of the tournament.
Charlotte leads the team standings after round one with a score of 273 (-11). Individually, Charlotte's Tien-In Uang tops the leaderboard after firing a 66 (-5).

Sloane Spessard carded a 77 (+6), highlighted by a hole-in-one on the par-3 11th hole.

Taylor Reaves matched Spessard with a 77 (+6) after recording two birdies and nine pars.

Maddie Peake posted an 80 (+9) in the opening round with 10 pars and one birdie.

Emma Louise Hunt followed with an 84 (+13), also recording 10 pars and one birdie.

Gabi Carles rounded out the PC lineup with a 90 (+19), highlighted by five pars and one birdie.
