CLINTON, S.C. – Presbyterian College freshman Bo Moody has been named Big South Freshman of the Week in honors announced Monday (March 23) by the conference.
Moody erupted offensively for the Blue Hose this past week, going 7-for-16 at the plate. He had a monster game on Friday night (March 20) at High Point, finishing 4-for-5 with a double and two runs scored. His four hits against the Panthers are a season-high.
Moody stayed hot the rest of the weekend. He wrapped up the High Point series on Sunday afternoon with his eighth multi-hit game of his freshman campaign, going 2-for-4. For the week, Moody posted three doubles and four runs scored. He now leads the Blue Hose this season with a .325 batting average. He also leads the team in doubles with seven.
This is the second weekly Big South honor for Presbyterian this year. Moody is the 12th player in program history to be named Big South Freshman of the Week.
