CLINTON, S.C. – Presbyterian College sophomore Matthew Rollison and freshman Bo Moody both took home Big South weekly awards in honors announced Monday (April 6) by the conference. Rollison was named Player of the Week, while Moody earned Freshman of the Week honors.
Rollison delivered a record-breaking week for the Blue Hose. In four games, he went an impressive 10-for-18 at the plate, homering four times while posting 15 RBIs and three doubles. He started the week off strong at Western Carolina on Tuesday, going 3-for-4 with four RBIs, leading the Blue Hose to a midweek road victory over the Catamounts.
On Friday at Charleston Southern, he posted his second four-hit game of the year, finishing 4-for-5 with a home run, a double, and three runs scored. The next day, he tied a program record in the series finale on Saturday. Rollison homered three times against the Buccaneers, tying the PC Division 1 single-game home run record, joining Andrew Williams and Brad Zebedis in 2012. He finished the game 3-for-5 with seven RBIs. His seven RBIs are tied for the second most by a PC player in a single game in the D1 era. Only Nick Wise had more, logging eight at UNC Asheville in 2018.

Moody also had a great week for the Blue Hose, going 6-for-14 offensively across four games. He scored a total of seven runs on the week and had two RBIs.
He finished the weekend at Charleston Southern with a three-hit performance on Saturday, posting at least three hits in a game for the second time this year. He opened the series on Thursday night with another multi-hit performance, finishing 2-for-3. For the season, Moody leads the team with 13 multi-hit games. He also reached base in all four games this week, extending his on-base streak to 18 games.
This is the first career weekly conference honor for Rollison. This is Moody's second Freshman of the Week award this season. He also earned Freshman of the Week honors on March 23.
The last time Presbyterian picked up two weekly league awards in the same week was May 20, 2024 (Joel Dragoo and Daniel Eagen).
