CLINTON, S.C. – Chloe Scofield has earned Big South Freshman of the Week honors as announced by the conference on Thursday (Sept. 17).

The Charlotte, N.C. native delivered a terrific performance this past week at the Elon Invitational on Monday and Tuesday (Sept. 14-15), coming in 24th place. She improved in every round in Burlington, finishing with a final round, 73. She was dominant on the front nine to finish the event, birdying holes two, seven, and eight to shoot -2 par. 

In her second round, she poured in four birdies, taking advantage of the eighth, twelfth, fourteenth, and sixteenth holes. She was -1 par on the back nine, PC's low-nine holes of the day. 

For the week at Elon, Scofield finished tied for second on the team in birdies with eight total. She was the second-highest finisher on the team for the event, only trailing Sloane Spessard. Her third round 73 is the best score of her collegiate career so far.

This is the first Big South weekly honor for Scofield. 

This is Presbyterian's first conference weekly honor since 2023.
