CLINTON, S.C.- The Presbyterian College women's tennis team opens the 2015 season on Saturday afternoon against NC A&T at 1 p.m. in Greensboro, N.C.
Seniors Greer Ransom (Athens, Ga.) and Caroline deLoach (Columbia, S.C.) return for their final season with the team. Other returners for the Blue Hose are junior Kayla Stanford (Canton, Ga.) and sophomores Antonia Conze (Willich, Germany), Caroline Ferrari (Rome, Ga.), and Madison Utberg (Roswell, Ga.).
Four newcomers will make their debut on Saturday in junior Claire-Mitchell Andrews, and freshmen Demi Henschel (Alberta, Canada), Sara McBride (Travelers Rest, S.C.), and Brittany Nuttall (Atlanta, Ga.). The squad was predicted to finish ninth in the Big South Conference annual poll of league coaches last week.
PC will return home on Saturday, January 31 for matches against NC Central and Savannah State at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Big South Conference play begins for the team at Gardner-Webb on Wednesday, February 18.
