The Presbyterian College women's tennis team opened up the 2015 season with a 7-0 sweep of the North Carolina A&T Aggies on Saturday morning at the Piedmont Indoor Center in Greensboro, N.C.

The Blue Hose won the doubles point to start out the day 1-0 with a 6-2 win by Demi Henschel (Alberta, Canada)/Greer Ransom (Athens, Ga.) at No. 1 doubles. Claire-Mitchell Andrews (Tampa, Fl.)/Brittany Nuttall (Atlanta, Ga.) picked up a 6-4 win at flight 2 and Caroline deLoach (Columbia, S.C.)/Sara McBride (Travelers Rest, S.C.) gave the Blue Hose an insurance 6-0 win at No. 3 doubles.

All six Blue Hose players won in straight sets on Saturday. Ransom picked up a 6-0, 6-3 win at No. 1 singles, while Nuttall earned her first career victory at No. 2 singles with a 6-3, 6-0 win. Henschel (6-2, 6-4) and Andrews (6-1, 6-2) picked up wins in their respective matches. deLoach earned a 6-3, 6-0 win at No. 5 singles and McBride got a 6-0, 6-0 shutout at No. 6 singles.

The Blue Hose will host NC Central and Savannah State on Saturday, January 31 in the first home matches of the season.
