CLINTON, S.C.- The Presbyterian College women's tennis takes on Big South Conference foe Charleston Southern today at 2 p.m. at the Buccaneer Tennis Complex.
The Blue Hose (11-4 overall, 0-2 BSC) will look to pick up the team's first conference win of the season against the 11-2 Bucs.
The pairing of Caroline deLoach (Columbia, S.C.) and Sara McBride (Travelers Rest, S.C.) are undefeated on the year at 7-0. Claire-Mitchell Andrews (Tampa, Fla.) and Brittany Nuttall (Atlanta, Ga.) are 9-6 in doubles play.
deLoach is 12-3 in singles action on the year. She has now won the last six matches. McBride's record is 8-1, while Andrews' is 8-6. Greer Ransom (Athens, Ga.) posts a 7-5 overall record at No. 1 singles and Demi Henschel (Alberta, Canada) is 7-6.
The team will travel to Virginia this weekend for Big South Conference matches at Longwood on Saturday at 11 a.m. and a match at Liberty on Sunday at 1 p.m.
