CLINTON, S.C.- The Presbyterian College women's tennis team welcomes UNC Asheville at 2 p.m. today in a Big South Conference match at the Templeton Tennis Courts.
The Blue Hose (12-8, 1-6) are coming off a close 4-3 loss to Radford on Friday. The Bulldogs are 12-6 overall and 2-4 in Big South action and also coming off a close 4-3 loss to Gardner-Webb on Monday.
Caroline deLoach (Columbia, S.C.) posts a 14-6 record in singles play on the year. Sara McBride (Travelers Rest, S.C.) is 10-4, while Claire-Mitchell Andrews (Tampa, Fla.) is 11-8.
Demi Henschel (Alberta, Canada) is 7-6 in singles this year, Brittany Nuttall (Atlanta, Ga.) is 8-12, Madison Utberg (Roswell, Ga.) is 2-8, and Antonia Conze (Willich, Germany) is 1-5 overall.
deLoach and McBride are 9-3 in doubles action this season, while Andrews and Nuttall are 10-10 as a team.
PC will host Coastal Carolina on Saturday at 10 a.m. in in the team's final Big South Conference match before tournament action next week. Seniors deLoach and Greer Ransom (Athens, Ga.) will be honored during the picnic after the match.
