CLINTON, S.C. – Junior Samage Teel of the Presbyterian College men's basketball team has been selected as this week's Adidas / Game One PC Student-Athlete of the Week. Last week, Teel played a major role in helping the Blue Hose collect wins over Vanderbilt and CIU to begin the season.
 
The Greenville, North Carolina native averaged a team-leading 15 points while shooting 57.9 percent from the field and 85.7 percent from the free throw line in the two wins. Last Tuesday, he scored eight points and dished out three assists in Presbyterian's 68-62 season-opening road win over Vanderbilt. In his home debut against CIU, he scored a game-high 22 points while shooting 7-for-11 from the field and a perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line this past Thursday.

This season, Teel averages 13.3 points while shooting 48.1 percent from the field with a team-high nine assists while helping the Blue Hose begin the season 3-0.

The Presbyterian College athletic department partnered with Game One on a multi-year apparel agreement last November as an official team dealer for Adidas. The partnership extended the university's alliance with Adidas which began in 2015 to outfit the Blue Hose athletic programs.
