CLINTON, S.C. – Senior guard Ja'Cia Cunningham of the Presbyterian College Blue Hose women's basketball team has been selected as this week's Adidas / Game One PC Student-Athlete of the Week.
Cunningham scored a combined 40 points in Presbyterian's two games this past weekend in the FIU Thanksgiving Classic in Miami. Against Seattle on Friday (Nov. 28), she scored a game-high and season-high 25 points on 10-of-19 shooting, also leading the team in rebounds with 7. She finished the weekend with a game-high 15 points against UMBC on Sunday (Nov. 30), once again leading the team offensively. For her efforts, she was named to the All-Tournament Team.
On the season, she leads the Blue Hose in scoring, averaging 13.1 points per game coming off the bench. She has scored in double figures in five games so far this year. She also leads the team in field goals made and is third on the team in rebounding, assists, steals, and three point shooting.
Game One
In November 2022, the Presbyterian College athletic department partnered with Game One on a multi-year apparel agreement as an official team dealer for Adidas. The partnership extended the university's alliance with Adidas, which began in 2015 to outfit the Blue Hose athletic programs.
