Box Score 2 SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Presbyterian College baseball team (17-32, Big South: 9-15) dropped both games of Saturday's doubleheader to USC Upstate (30-22, Big South: 16-5), falling 12-3 in the opener and 10-2 in the series finale.

GAME ONE: USC Upstate 12, Presbyterian 3
- Just hours after walking across the graduation stage, Rhogue Wallace gave PC an early jolt by sending the first pitch of the game over the left field fence.
- Trey Fenderson followed with a walk and later stole second before scoring on Amman Dewberry's RBI single to give the Blue Hose a 2-0 lead.
- PC tacked on another run in the second inning. Jake Randolph singled, Dewberry doubled to put runners in scoring position, and Matthew Rollison drove in Randolph with an RBI single following a walk to Ryan Ouzts.
- The Spartans pulled even in the fourth, tying the game at 3-3 with the help of three hits and two PC errors.
- USC Upstate broke the game open in the fifth, scoring seven runs on five hits and two more PC miscues.
- Two additional runs in the sixth stretched the Spartans' lead to 12-3, where it would stay for the remainder of the contest.
- Caden Barnett closed out the game on the mound for the Blue Hose, tossing a career-high 2.1 innings while allowing just one hit with one strikeout and no runs.

NOTABLES – GAME ONE
- Rhogue Wallace's home run was his fifth of the year and came on the first pitch of the game.
- Amman Dewberry recorded his 10th double of the season.
- Tristan McGregor struck out five across 4.0 innings and allowed no earned runs despite seven hits.
- Caden Barnett's 2.1 scoreless innings marked a career high in length.

GAME TWO: USC Upstate 10, Presbyterian 2
• USC Upstate carried its momentum into game two, jumping ahead 4-0 in the first inning.

Ryan Ouzts responded in the second by launching a leadoff home run to left-center.
• A throwing error in the bottom of the second allowed another run to cross for the Spartans, extending their lead to 5-1.
• After a pair of scoreless frames, the Spartans added two more runs in the fifth behind a two-RBI single.
• A sixth-inning RBI double by Upstate made it 8-1.
• In the eighth, Fenderson doubled and later came home on a Spartan error for PC's second run.
• USC Upstate capped the scoring with two more runs in the bottom half of the inning to take the 10-2 win and the series sweep.

- Ryan Ouzts went deep for his ninth homer and also notched his ninth double of the season.
- Trey Fenderson's eighth-inning double gave him a team-best 16 on the year.
- Robbie Boykin provided 3.0 strong innings in relief, giving up no earned runs while striking out two.
