BLUE HOSE NOTES
- Presbyterian dropped two road games to Florida Atlantic on Tuesday and Wednesday in Boca Raton.
- Amman Dewberry doubled in the eighth inning on Wednesday to extend his hit-streak to five games.
- James Green has been hot as of late for PC. He went 3-for-5 with a run scored at the plate on Wednesday, recording his first three-hit game in a PC uniform. He has now recorded a hit in nine of his last 11 games.
- Caden Mason also had a productive day on Wednesday against the Owls, reaching base in all four of his plate appearances. He has logged two hits in a game twice in his last three contests.
- For the season, Dewberry, Green, and Mason lead the Presbyterian offense, all batting over .300.
- On the mound, Tyrell Williams leads the Blue Hose in innings pitched with 16.2 Christian Charalmabous, Bauer Burkart, and Tristan McGregor are right behind.
- Eli Bowery leads the team out of the bullpen, holding a 1.23 ERA in 7.1 innings pitched.
- Mason McDaniel made his longest outing of the season out of the bullpen on Wednesday against the Owls, pitching 2.1 scoreless innings of one-hit ball.
DEWBERRY DOING THINGS
Amman Dewberry has powered the Blue Hose offense all year to begin the season. He is hitting .361 to lead the team (6th in the Big South). He has 26 hits on the year, tied for the most in the league. He also is second in the conference in RBIs with 21. Dewberry paces the Blue Hose as well in slugging percentage (.583) and doubles (5). He has recorded eight multi-hits games this season.
INCOMING TRANSFERS]
Head coach Elton Pollock added eight transfers to this year's squad. James Green, Sammy Vander Hill, Caden Mason, Bauer Burkart, Emory Guilford, Ian Lindsay, Braiden Eagen, and Matthew Cannon are the new transfer additions for the Blue Hose.
NEW FRESHMAN
Nine freshmen join the Blue Hose this season. Domaine Vann, Bo Moody, Tucker Meredith, Jonathan Williams, Cole Morgan, Landon Nichols, Nathan Sofield, Jayden Adams, and Aidan Taylor join Coach Pollock's squad as incoming freshmen.
COACH POLLOCK
Head coach Elton Pollock enters his 22nd season at the helm of the Blue Hose. In 2025, Coach Pollock guided a young roster through one of the toughest non-conference schedules to date, earning a key win over No. 23 Alabama, halting their undefeated season.
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
- Presbyterian has a commanding lead in the all-time series with UNC Asheville, boasting a 35-20 record over the Bulldogs. The Blue Hose have dominated the series as of late, taking five of the last six meetings (including two-out-of-three last year in Asheville).
- The Bulldogs enter conference play with a 10-8 overall record. UNC Asheville had won five straight before falling to Morehead State on Tuesday 16-11.
- Blaize Johnson powers the Asheville offense, hitting .388 with six home runs. Drew Turner leads the Bulldogs on the mound with a 1.21 ERA in 22.1 innings pitched.
- Alex Raburn is the interim head coach for UNC Asheville.

The Blue Hose campaign will feature 24 games at Elton Pollock Field at the PC Baseball Complex, highlighted by four series against Big South opponents UNC Asheville (March 13-15), Winthrop (April 10-12), Radford (April 24-26), and USC Upstate (May 8-10).
Presbyterian will take on three SEC opponents on the road during the season: Georgia (April 7), South Carolina (April 21), and Tennessee (May 5). The Blue Hose will also travel to face ACC foe Clemson on Feb. 24. Georgia, Tennessee, and Clemson are all ranked in the top 20 of the first edition of this season's D1Baseball Top 25.
