BLUE HOSE NOTES
- Presbyterian picked up a series victory over UNC Asheville to open Big South play over the weekend, winning on Saturday and Sunday to secure the series.

- The Blue Hose dropped the first game to the Bulldogs on Friday but outscored UNC Asheville 22-1 over the next two days. As a team, PC combined for 22 hits as well.

- In the two wins, Christian Charalambous and Tristan McGregor combined for 16 innings pitched and 18 strikeouts while allowing just one run. Both pitched completed games for PC. Charalambous was named Big South Co-Starting Pitcher of the Week for his performance.

- Bo Moody, Nick Smith, and Andrew Albertus had multi-hit days on both Saturday and Sunday. Smith hit his first home run of the season on Saturday, crushing a three-run long ball to right field.

- Four different Blue Hose players are batting at least .300 to lead the Presbyterian offense: Caden Mason, Amman Dewberry, Matthew Rollison, and James Green. Mason leads the team with a .320 batting average.

- On the mound, Charalambous leads the Blue Hose in innings pitched with 24.2. Tyrell Williams and McGregor have also exceeded the 20 inning mark, throwing 23.0 and 20.2 respectively.

- Eli Bowery leads the team out of the bullpen, holding a 1.23 ERA in 7.1 innings pitched.

DEWBERRY DOING THINGS
Amman Dewberry has been one of the most productive hitters in the Big South this season. He has 26 hits on the year, tied for the most in the league. He also is second in the conference in RBIs with 21. He has recorded eight multi-hit games this season.

WEEKEND PITCHING POWER
All three Blue Hose starting pitchers against UNC Asheville last weekend delivered quality starts over the weekend. Tyrell Williams pitched a season-high 6.1 innings on Friday night, allowing three runs. On Saturday, Christian Charalambous threw a complete game shutout, going all nine innings. He allowed just four hits and struck out seven. His complete game shutout is the first PC complete game shutout since Brian Kehner on March 17, 2017 against Army. Finally, Tristan McGregor threw PC's second complete game in as many days on Sunday, pitching all seven innings while punching out 11 (both career-highs).

INCOMING TRANSFERS
Head coach Elton Pollock added eight transfers to this year's squad. James Green, Sammy Vander Hill, Caden Mason, Bauer Burkart, Emory Guilford, Ian Lindsay, Braiden Eagen, and Matthew Cannon are the new transfer additions for the Blue Hose.

NEW FRESHMAN
Nine freshmen join the Blue Hose this season. Domaine Vann, Bo Moody, Tucker Meredith, Jonathan Williams, Cole Morgan, Landon Nichols, Nathan Sofield, Jayden Adams, and Aidan Taylor join Coach Pollock's squad as incoming freshmen.

COACH POLLOCK
Head coach Elton Pollock enters his 22nd season at the helm of the Blue Hose. In 2025, Coach Pollock guided a young roster through one of the toughest non-conference schedules to date, earning a key win over No. 23 Alabama, halting their undefeated season.

SCOUTING THE TERRIERS
- Wofford leads the all-time series with Presbyterian 22 to 18 since PC became a D1 program in 2008. The Terriers have won nine out of the last 10 meetings. The Blue Hose split last year's two games, winning 4-3 in Clinton. The Blue Hose will play in Spartanburg at Wofford on Tuesday, April 14.

- Wofford comes into Tuesday with a 13-8 overall record. The Terriers split a four-game set with Princeton in Spartanburg over the weekend.

- Logan Tribble leads the Terrier offense, batting .409. On the mound, Alec Bouchard powers Wofford with a 2.22 ERA.

- Head coach J.J. Edwards leads the Terriers in his third season.
