BLUE HOSE NOTES
- Presbyterian returns to action following three defeats on the road at High Point over the weekend.
- Bo Moody had a monster week for the Blue Hose, going 7-for-16 at the plate in four games to earn Big South Freshman of the Week. This is PC's second weekly honor of the season. Moody went 4-for-5 on Friday night and finished the week with three doubles.
- Matthew Rollison hit his first two home runs of the year on Sunday afternoon, posting his second career multi-homer game.
- Emory Guilford brings a six-game hit streak going into Wednesday. James Green has reached base in 11 straight as well.
- Moody leads the Blue Hose with a .325 batting average. Dewberry and Rollison are also hitting above .300, batting .316 and .314 respectively.
- On the mound, Christian Charalambous leads the Blue Hose in innings pitched with 29. Tyrell Williams and Tristan McGregor have also exceeded the 20-inning mark for PC.
- McGregor powers the team in strikeouts this year with 26. Williams and Charalambous are right behind with 23 apiece.
DEWBERRY DOING THINGS
Amman Dewberry has been one of the best hitters in the Big South this season. He leads Presbyterian with 30 hits on the year, ranking sixth in the league. He is ninth in the conference in RBIs with 23. He has recorded nine multi-hit games this season and leads the Blue Hose in home runs (tied with Guilford) and slugging percentage.
COMPLETE GAME PITCHING
The Blue Hose threw back-to-back complete games in PC's first conference series of the year against UNC Asheville. On March 14, Christian Charalambous threw a complete game shutout, going all nine innings. He allowed just four hits and struck out seven. His complete game shutout is the first PC complete game shutout since Brian Kehner on March 17, 2017 against Army. Tristan McGregor followed with PC's second complete game in as many days on March 15, pitching all seven innings while punching out 11 (both career-highs).
INCOMING TRANSFERS
Head coach Elton Pollock added eight transfers to this year's squad. James Green, Sammy Vander Hill, Caden Mason, Bauer Burkart, Emory Guilford, Ian Lindsay, Braiden Eagen, and Matthew Cannon are the new transfer additions for the Blue Hose.
NEW FRESHMAN
Nine freshmen join the Blue Hose this season. Domaine Vann, Bo Moody, Tucker Meredith, Jonathan Williams, Cole Morgan, Landon Nichols, Nathan Sofield, Jayden Adams, and Aidan Taylor join Coach Pollock's squad as incoming freshmen.
COACH POLLOCK
Head coach Elton Pollock enters his 22nd season at the helm of the Blue Hose. In 2025, Coach Pollock guided a young roster through one of the toughest non-conference schedules to date, earning a key win over No. 23 Alabama, halting their undefeated season.
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
- The Citadel leads the all-time series with Presbyterian with a 13-6 record since PC became a D1 program in 2008. The Bulldogs have won four in a row over the Blue Hose, including both meetings last season.
- This will be the first of four meetings this year between the two teams.
- The Citadel enters this week with a 9-13 overall record. The Bulldogs have dropped four out of their past five coming into the game. Most recently, The Citadel dropped two of three at Mercer this past weekend.
- Head coach Russell Triplett leads the Bulldogs in his second season.
