BLUE HOSE NOTES
- Presbyterian took on Appalachian State in a three-game series this past weekend in three different locations, dropping all three contests.
- Tyrell Williams was dominant in relief on Friday night for the Blue Hose against the Mountaineers, delivering one of the best performances of his career. Out of the bullpen, he threw a season-high 5.2 innings, allowing just three hits and no runs. He recorded a career-high nine strikeouts while also walking none.
- Bo Moody delivered last week at the plate for the Blue Hose, going 5-for-13 with four RBIs. He had two multi-hit games this past week, doubling his season total. On Sunday at App State, he reached base in all four of his plate appearances. He has gotten on base at least once in all but one game this season for PC.
- Caden Mason also had a nice week at the plate, going 4-of-11 offensively. He had three doubles and two RBIs to help lead the PC offense. On Saturday against App State, he reached base in all three of his plate appearances.
- Matthew Rollison has had a productive start to the season, batting .313 for the Blue Hose with 15 hits and two doubles.
- Williams leads PC on the mound this year, pacing the team with 16 innings pitched so far in 2026.
DEWBERRY DOING THINGS
Amman Dewberry powers the Blue Hose offense, ranking as one of the best hitters in the Big South this season. He is hitting .375 to lead PC, ranking fifth in the league. His 24 hits this year put him tied for second in the conference as well. He also paces the Blue Hose in RBIs with 21 (second in Big South) and total bases with 39 (third in conference).
INCOMING TRANSFERS
Head coach Elton Pollock added eight transfers to this year's squad. James Green, Sammy Vander Hill, Caden Mason, Bauer Burkart, Emory Guilford, Ian Lindsay, Braiden Eagen, and Matthew Cannon are the new transfer additions for the Blue Hose.
NEW FRESHMAN
Nine freshmen join the Blue Hose this season. Domaine Vann, Bo Moody, Tucker Meredith, Jonathan Williams, Cole Morgan, Landon Nichols, Nathan Sofield, Jayden Adams, and Aidan Taylor join Coach Pollock's squad as incoming freshmen.
COACH POLLOCK
Head coach Elton Pollock enters his 22nd season at the helm of the Blue Hose. In 2025, Coach Pollock guided a young roster through one of the toughest non-conference schedules to date, earning a key win over No. 23 Alabama, halting their undefeated season.
SCOUTING THE OWLS
- This will be the first meeting between the two teams since PC became a D1 program in 2008.
- Florida Atlantic comes into this week with a 9-6 overall record. The Owls swept FIU this past weekend in Boca Raton, outscoring the Panthers 26-8 across three games.
- The Owls have been prolific offensively to start the year, batting .294 as a team and averaging 5.9 runs per game. Florida Atlantic has recorded 89 hits, 23 doubles, eight home runs, and four triples.
