BLUE HOSE NOTES
- Presbyterian picked up its first midweek victory of the year on Tuesday night, defeating Western Carolina 6-5 on the road in Cullowhee.

Matthew Rollison posted three hits and a season-high four RBIs against the Catamounts. This is his third time recording at least three hits in a game this season. His four RBIs are his second most in a game in his career.

Eli Bowery made his first career collegiate start, pitching two scoreless innings. Tucker Meredith recorded his first collegiate victory on the mound, throwing two scoreless innings to follow Bowery. He struck out two.

Jeremiah Hampton got the save in the ninth inning, securing the first of his career.

- Emory Guilford brings an 11-game hit streak going into the weekend. He is tied with Amman Dewberry for the most home runs on the team with four. He also leads the team with two triples.

- James Green is tied with Moody for the most stolen bases on the team this season with 10.

- Dewberry powers PC in RBIs with 23. He is second on the team in hits with 31.

- On the mound, Christian Charalambous leads Presbyterian in innings pitched with 33.1. Tyrell Williams and Tristan McGregor have also exceeded the 20-inning mark for PC.

- McGregor powers the team in strikeouts this year with 28. Williams and Charalambous are right behind with 26 apiece.

FRESHMAN PHENOM
Bo Moody has been one of the best freshmen in the Big South this season. He leads the Blue Hose in several statistical categories, including batting average (.340), hits (33), on-base percentage (.476), stolen bases (10), and doubles (9). He ranks in the top 10 of the league in on-base percentage, doubles, and stolen bases. Going into the weekend, he currently holds a 15-game on-base streak and leads the team with 11 multi-hit games.

COMPLETE GAME PITCHING
The Blue Hose threw back-to-back complete games in PC's first conference series of the year against UNC Asheville. On March 14, Christian Charalambous threw a complete game shutout, going all nine innings. He allowed just four hits and struck out seven. His complete game shutout is the first PC complete game shutout since Brian Kehner on March 17, 2017 against Army. Tristan McGregor followed with PC's second complete game in as many days on March 15, pitching all seven innings while punching out 11 (both career-highs).

INCOMING TRANSFERS
Head coach Elton Pollock added eight transfers to this year's squad. James Green, Sammy Vander Hill, Caden Mason, Bauer Burkart, Emory Guilford, Ian Lindsay, Braiden Eagen, and Matthew Cannon are the new transfer additions for the Blue Hose.

NEW FRESHMAN
Nine freshmen join the Blue Hose this season. Domaine Vann, Bo Moody, Tucker Meredith, Jonathan Williams, Cole Morgan, Landon Nichols, Nathan Sofield, Jayden Adams, and Aidan Taylor join Coach Pollock's squad as incoming freshmen.

COACH POLLOCK
Head coach Elton Pollock enters his 22nd season at the helm of the Blue Hose. In 2025, Coach Pollock guided a young roster through one of the toughest non-conference schedules to date, earning a key win over No. 23 Alabama, halting their undefeated season.

SCOUTING THE BUCCANEERS
- Presbyterian controls the all-time with Charleston Southern, holding a 29-24 record. The Buccaneers swept last year's series. The Blue Hose last won a series against the Buccaneers in 2023. On the road, PC has not won a series in Charleston since 2019.

- The Buccaneers enter this weekend with a 17-10 overall record. Charleston Southern is tied with PC in the Big South with a 2-4 conference record. The Buccaneers have lost three straight going into Thursday, suffering three road defeats at Winthrop last weekend.

- Mason Reising leads the league in batting average, hitting .415 for the Buccaneers. As a team, Charleston Southern leads the conference with a .298 team average. On the mound, Charleston Southern holds a 5.39 ERA.

- Head coach Karl Kuhn leads the Buccaneers in his second season.
