CLINTON, S.C. – Junior guard/forward
Kishyah Anderson of the Presbyterian College women's basketball team has been named the Adidas / Game One PC Student-Athlete of the Week after leading the Blue Hose to two Big South Conference victories.
Anderson played a pivotal role in the team's success last week, particularly in a road win against UNC Asheville. She posted an impressive stat line with 14 points, seven rebounds, six assists, one steal, and one block while shooting a flawless 6-of-6 from the free-throw line.
Across the week, she averaged 11 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 3 assists per game, shooting an efficient 83.3% (10-of-12) from the charity stripe.
ANDERSON'S AMMUNITION
This season, Anderson has been a standout for the Blue Hose, competing in all 17 games and leading the team with 12.4 points per game, the fourth-best in the Big South. She has been highly efficient, shooting 46.3 percent from the field and 71.7 percent (43-of-60) from the free-throw line, ranking sixth in the conference.
Anderson also contributes significantly on the boards, ranking second on the team with 4.9 rebounds per game. Her hustle has resulted in 43 offensive rebounds and 40 defensive boards.
The junior has been a force defensively, ranking second in the Big South with 0.8 blocks per game and ninth with 1.5 steals per game, showcasing her ability to disrupt opposing offenses.
Game One
In November 2022, the Presbyterian College athletic department partnered with Game One on a multi-year apparel agreement as an official team dealer for Adidas. The partnership extended the university's alliance with Adidas, which began in 2015 to outfit the Blue Hose athletic programs.
