CLINTON, S.C. – Redshirt junior forward
Jaylen Peterson of the Presbyterian College Blue Hose men's basketball team has been selected as this week's Adidas / Game One PC Student-Athlete of the Week.
Last week, he averaged 14.5 points and five rebounds in helping the Blue Hose post a 2-0 week with wins over UNC Asheville at home and Gardner-Webb on the road.
In the 71-70 win over UNC Asheville on January 14, he scored 11 points with eight rebounds and three blocked shots. He scored 18 points on 6-for-9 shooting from the field in Presbyterian's 92-55 road win at Gardner-Webb on January 17.
For the season, Peterson averages 10.2 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. This season, Peterson has scored in double figures nine times with four double digit rebounds games.
Game One
In November 2022, the Presbyterian College athletic department partnered with Game One on a multi-year apparel agreement as an official team dealer for Adidas. The partnership extended the university's alliance with Adidas, which began in 2015 to outfit the Blue Hose athletic programs.
