CLINTON, S.C. – Sophomore guard Krystal Haddock of the Presbyterian College Blue Hose women's basketball team has been selected as this week's Adidas / Game One PC Student-Athlete of the Week.
Haddock delivered a record-breaking performance in PC's game on Friday night (Jan. 23) against Charleston Southern in Clinton. She grabbed a program record 12 offensive rebounds against the Buccaneers, shattering the previous record of nine. She scored 16 points and recorded a career-high 14 rebounds. She also had a career night from the free-throw line, making 10 of her 13 total attempts (both career-highs).
She recorded the first double-double of her collegiate career against Charleston Southern and the first of any player for Presbyterian this season. Earlier in the week, she poured in 10 points to help lead the Blue Hose to their first victory in conference play, a 50-46 win over Gardner-Webb on Wednesday (Jan. 21) on the road. She has scored in double figures in each of the last three games.
On the season, she leads the team in rebounds, averaging 5.2 per game. She is also second on the team in total starts (15) and in minutes played per game (27.0).
