CLINTON, S.C. – Senior utility player Ryan Ouzts of the Presbyterian College Blue Hose baseball team has been selected as this week's Adidas / Game One PC Student-Athlete of the Week. Last week, Ouzts hit an impressive pair of grand slams in Presbyterian's four-game sweep against the St. Peter's Peacocks.
 
Through PC's first four games of the season, the Gilbert, S.C. native started in all four games where he stepped up to the plate 14 times to tally five runs, seven hits, 11 RBIs, 2 grand slams, while batting at .500 through the weekend.
 
In the Blue Hose's season opener, Ouzts helped his team earn a 10-2 victory after he put up one run, one hit, one RBI, and two stolen bases.
 
The next day, PC won both games of their double header with scores of 16-6 and 16-1. Ouzts hit an RBI single for PC in game one before hitting a big-time grand slam in the second game. Also, in game number two on Saturday, the senior recorded two hits, two runs, with five RBIs and a putout.
 
To close out the week, the Blue Hose completed the sweep with a 16-3 victory over the Peacocks. Once again, Ouzts hit one out of the park to bring home four runs for the Blue Hose marking his second grand slam in two games. He totaled three hits on three at bats, four RBIs, two runs, and a stolen base.



The Presbyterian College athletic department partnered with Game One on a multi-year apparel agreement last November as an official team dealer for Adidas. The partnership extended the university's alliance with Adidas which began in 2015 to outfit the Blue Hose athletic programs.
