Adidas / Game One Student-Athlete of the Week: Ryan Ouzts

CLINTON, S.C. – Redshirt senior Ryan Ouzts played a key role for the Presbyterian College baseball team last week, starting in all four games and leading the Blue Hose to their first Big South series sweep of the season against Gardner-Webb. His standout performances have earned him the title of Adidas / Game One PC Student-Athlete of the Week.
 
OUZTS' IMPACTFUL WEEK
Ouzts was a force at the plate, hitting .438 (7-for-16) with two doubles, two home runs, and seven RBIs. His power translated to a .938 slugging percentage, while his discipline at the plate helped him post a .526 on-base percentage. Over four games, he collected 15 total bases, five runs scored, and three walks.
 
His most dominant performance came in Sunday's series finale against Gardner-Webb, where he went 4-for-5, crushing two home runs alongside a single and a double while driving in six RBIs. His clutch hitting helped Presbyterian secure its first conference series sweep of the season.
 
SEASON OVERVIEW
Ouzts has been a consistent presence in the lineup this season, appearing in all 26 games while starting in 23. He is currently hitting at a .267 rate with 23 hits, 14 runs, 18 RBIs, and eight walks, maintaining a .337 on-base percentage. His team-leading six home runs and team-tying six doubles contribute to a strong .547 slugging percentage.

- The Presbyterian College athletic department partnered with Game One on a multi-year apparel agreement in November 2022 as an official team dealer for Adidas. The partnership extended the university's alliance with Adidas, which began in 2015 to outfit the Blue Hose athletic programs.
