CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College baseball team opened their 2025 season last weekend with a series against Georgetown here in Clinton, S.C. Sophomore RHP Jacob Fields has been named this week's Adidas / Game One Student Athlete of the Week following his stupendous performance on the mound in Presbyterian's 6-5 victory in the second game of the series against the Hoyas.
 
FIELDS DAY
In the second game of Friday's doubleheader against Georgetown, Fields stepped in to throw with two outs on the board and two runners on base in the top of the seventh inning. He immediately made an impact, striking out his first opposing batter and getting Presbyterian out of the inning with no damage. He went on to finish the game with three strikeouts while holding opposing batters to no hits or runs. The Blue Hose walked away with a 6-5 win over Georgetown behind Fields' first career save with PC.



Game One
In November 2022, the Presbyterian College athletic department partnered with Game One on a multi-year apparel agreement as an official team dealer for Adidas. The partnership extended the university's alliance with Adidas, which began in 2015 to outfit the Blue Hose athletic programs.
