CLINTON, S.C. – Junior Matija Samardzic of the Presbyterian College Blue Hose men's tennis team has been selected as this week's Adidas / Game One PC Student-Athlete of the Week.
 
Samardzic collected two singles and two doubles wins last week. The Podgorica, Montenegro native went 2-1 with wins at number one singles against Furman and number two singles against Longwood. He teamed with David Mamalat to post wins at number one doubles over doubles duos from Longwood and Norfolk State to help the Blue Hose capture the doubles point in both of those matches.
 
This season, Samardzic leads the team with 11 singles wins, and he has teamed with Mamalat for a team-high 13 doubles wins.
 
Game One
In November 2022, the Presbyterian College athletic department partnered with Game One on a multi-year apparel agreement as an official team dealer for Adidas. The partnership extended the university's alliance with Adidas, which began in 2015 to outfit the Blue Hose athletic programs.

Game One is among the country's largest and fastest-growing sports equipment and apparel suppliers, serving a loyal customer base of 13,000 schools and organizations in 38 states.
