CLINTON, S.C. – Junior pitcher Tristan McGregor of the Presbyterian College Blue Hose baseball team has been selected as this week's Adidas / Game One PC Student-Athlete of the Week.
McGregor was dominant on the mound to finish the weekend on Sunday afternoon (March 15), throwing a gem to help the Blue Hose run-rule UNC Asheville 11-1 in seven innings and secure the series.
McGregor threw PC's second complete game in as many days, recording a career-high 11 strikeouts while allowing just five hits. His seven innings pitched is his second-longest career pitching appearance and a season-high.
The Blue Hose opened Big South play over the weekend at home against UNC Asheville, taking two out of three to claim the series.
Game One
In November 2022, the Presbyterian College athletic department partnered with Game One on a multi-year apparel agreement as an official team dealer for Adidas. The partnership extended the university's alliance with Adidas, which began in 2015 to outfit the Blue Hose athletic programs.
