CLINTON, S.C. – Posting three scores in her final appearance in a Presbyterian uniform over the weekend, fifth-year midfielder
Abby Edmisten of the Blue Hose lacrosse team has been selected as the Adidas / Game One PC Student-Athlete of the Week.
Going for at least a trifecta in 23 different games over a record-setting tenure, Edmisten's hat trick against Wofford on Saturday was her 66
th and final outing while donning the blue and garnet.
She will depart Presbyterian as the school's all-time leader in career goals (151) and points (189). In 2024 alone, she put together eight multi-goal efforts, four of which came against Big South foes.
A native of Milton, Georgia, Edmisten has aligned a career shot-on-goal percentage of .741, responsible for five game-winning goals along with an average of 38 points per season.
Since joining the Blue Hose in the abbreviated 2020 campaign, Abby has collected 85 draw controls and 79 ground balls. She assembled 63 scores when in a conference setting.
The Presbyterian College athletic department partnered with Game One on a multi-year apparel agreement in November of 2022 as an official team dealer for Adidas. The partnership extended the university's alliance with Adidas which began in 2015 to outfit the Blue Hose athletic programs.
