CLINTON, S.C. – A key piece to the Presbyterian College softball team's final victory of 2024 over the weekend against Radford, junior outfielder Mallory Fletcher has been selected as the Adidas / Game One PC Student-Athlete of the Week.

As the Blue Hose split the first two matchups with the Highlanders on Saturday, Fletcher produced two extra-base swings while going 3-for-6 at the plate overall. She batted in a pair of runs on the day, giving her 11 RBI for the season and 18 over the past two years.

Hailing from Thomasville, Georgia, Mallory appeared in 48 contests throughout the campaign while starting 46 of them at the rightfield spot. She reached base 40 times with 29 hits, gathering six doubles against Big South opposition.



In 2024, Fletcher bumped up her hitting numbers by 10 compared to her sophomore stint after transferring into the program from Georgia State, accumulating 13 doubles and four home runs thus far in her PC tenure.

Mallory went three straight outings with a double in the latter stages of the semester, booming a three-run homer at Western Carolina on March 12.

Over the course of 202 at-bats, Fletcher has calculated a .361 slugging percentage to go along with 73 putouts on the defensive end. She has gathered 25 hits when faced with a Big South opponent, posting the best BA on the roster during conference play last year (.280).

The junior collected five multi-hit showings in her second season in Clinton, scoring 19 runs beside 48 hits since joining the Blue Hose family.

The Presbyterian College athletic department partnered with Game One on a multi-year apparel agreement in November of 2022 as an official team dealer for Adidas. The partnership extended the university's alliance with Adidas which began in 2015 to outfit the Blue Hose athletic programs.
